Rose is a scarf collection acknowledging the softness of the young girl in every woman when becoming a mother.

It’s about her free fall into society in a moment where her time loses independent value and she is determined by the context in which she finds herself.

Rose expresses tenderness - a feeling that can be felt by everyone at any time.

From one cochineal dye batch different shades of Rose start appearing naturally as you are working with it, the more material gets added, the lighter the dye gets.

Start imagining your scarf:

  • Choose scarf option 1 or 2

your to be dyed scarf can be: plain or with asymmetrical black edges as shown below.

1. Plain natural white (the entire scarf will turn into your chosen shade of rose)

2. natural white with asymmetrical black edges (white will turn into your chosen shade of rose)

  • Choose 1 of the 4 SHADES of rose per scarf:

#1 wine-rose / #2 purple-rose / #3 pink-rose / #4 rose

All the scarves are made in a one of a kind way on a manual knitting machine with a fine rib stitch. They are knit with regional Portuguese yarns in natural white with black asymmetrical edges before being dyed. The scarves are excellent gifts bringing color and warmth into Winter!
